Acceptance
These Terms apply to the Voidline website, game, online multiplayer, leaderboards, progression services, and related support channels. By using Voidline, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the website, game, or online services.
The Service
Voidline is a 3D space combat roguelite. The website provides information, media, support links, and links to external stores such as Steam. The game may provide solo play, online rooms, hosted multiplayer, leaderboards, saved progression, unlocks, rewards, and account or anonymous identity features.
Some features depend on SpacetimeDB, relay services, authentication providers, Steam, hosting providers, or other infrastructure. Those services may have separate terms.
Accounts, Names, and Online Identity
Online features may use an anonymous SpacetimeDB identity or a Keycloak/OIDC login, depending on server configuration. You are responsible for activity through your account, identity, or device. Keep credentials and join links private.
Display names, room names, leaderboard names, and similar text must not impersonate others, include contact details, reveal sensitive personal information, or contain unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, threatening, or otherwise abusive content.
Online Rules
You may not use Voidline to cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, attack infrastructure, scrape data, bypass access controls, manipulate leaderboards, interfere with other players, reverse engineer network services except where law allows, or use join tokens, room tickets, or relay details in an unauthorized way.
We may remove leaderboard entries, reset progression, close rooms, restrict access, or suspend online features when we believe activity is abusive, fraudulent, harmful, unlawful, or damaging to the integrity of the game.
Your Content
Content you submit through Voidline can include display names, room names, leaderboard entries, support messages, bug reports, and gameplay telemetry. You keep any rights you have in your own content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, promote, support, and improve Voidline.
Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. Do not submit sensitive personal information through public gameplay fields.
Purchases and External Stores
The website may link to Steam or other stores. Purchases, refunds, payment processing, platform accounts, downloads, achievements, cloud saves, and store reviews are handled by the relevant platform under that platform's terms. We do not process payment card details on the Voidline website.
Unless a separate written promotion says otherwise, leaderboards and gameplay rankings do not award cash, prizes, or monetary value.
Ownership and License
Voidline, including the game, website, code, artwork, audio, design, names, logos, gameplay systems, and related materials, is owned by Harald Roine / Voidline Team or its licensors. Subject to these Terms and any platform rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and play Voidline for personal entertainment.
You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, host unauthorized servers for, or commercially exploit Voidline unless we give written permission or applicable law gives you that right.
Availability and Changes
Voidline is an evolving game. Features, balance, online services, servers, data formats, supported platforms, progression, leaderboards, rewards, rooms, and availability may change, reset, pause, or end. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but online services are not guaranteed to be available at all times.
Disclaimers and Liability
Voidline is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or free from data loss.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or unauthorized access arising from your use of Voidline. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under consumer protection or other mandatory law.
Age
Voidline's online services are not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use online features, or older if your local law requires it, unless a parent or guardian provides any consent required by law.
Disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve issues informally. Your mandatory consumer rights and local legal protections remain unaffected.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Voidline changes. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
